REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs purchases made on religious.co.in (“Website”). By placing an order on the Website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

This Policy is in accordance with applicable laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.


1. ORDER CANCELLATION

1.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Orders may be cancelled only before they are shipped.
  • Once the order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled after delivery.

1.2 Cancellation of Customized Products

  • Any product that is customized, personalized, made-to-order, or specially procured shall not be eligible for cancellation, return, or refund under any circumstances.

1.3 Partial Cancellation

  • Partial cancellation of orders is not permitted.

1.4 Cancellation Processing Timeline

  • Cancellation requests are processed within 1–2 business days.
  • Refund (if applicable) will be initiated after confirmation of cancellation and subject to return conditions (if applicable).

2. RETURN POLICY

2.1 Return Eligibility

A product will be eligible for return only if:

  • A return request is raised within 24 hours of delivery, and
  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in original packaging with all tags, invoices, and accessories intact.

2.2 Non-Returnable Products

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Customized or personalized products
  • Used, damaged, or altered products
  • Products returned without original packaging

2.3 Return Process

  • Once approved, a pickup may be arranged (subject to serviceability).
  • In case pickup is not available, the customer must self-ship the product.

2.4 Return Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer, unless the return is due to:
    • Wrong product delivered
    • Damaged/defective product

3. DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

  • Customers must report damaged, defective, or incorrect products within 24 hours of delivery, along with:
    • Clear images/videos as proof
  • Failure to report within this timeline will render the product ineligible for return or refund.

Important Condition:

  • If the product is damaged during return transit due to improper packaging by the customer, no refund shall be issued.
  • Customers are advised to securely pack the product to avoid transit damage.

4. REFUND POLICY

4.1 Refund Conditions

  • Refunds will be processed only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved by our team.
  • Refunds will not be issued for customized products.

4.2 Refund Mode

  • Refunds will be processed only via online transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI) or to the original payment method.
  • No cash refunds will be provided.

4.3 Refund Timelines

  • Refunds will be initiated within 7 working days from the date of receipt of returned product.
  • Bank processing may take an additional 5–10 working days, depending on the payment method.

4.4 Deductions

  • Applicable deductions may include:
    • Shipping charges
    • Payment gateway charges (if applicable)
    • Any damages or missing items

5. COD (CASH ON DELIVERY) ORDERS

  • Refunds for COD orders will be processed via bank transfer only.
  • Customers must provide:
    • Beneficiary Name
    • Account Number
    • Bank Name & Branch
    • IFSC Code
    • Mobile Number

6. REFUSAL OF RETURNS

We reserve the right to refuse returns in the following cases:

  • Return request raised after 24 hours
  • Product found used, damaged, or not in original condition
  • Missing accessories or packaging
  • Suspected fraudulent or abusive behavior

7. FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure in processing returns/refunds due to events beyond our control including natural disasters, strikes, logistics disruptions, or governmental actions.

By using the Website and placing an order, you acknowledge that:
